If the contractor does not sign your agreement, reach out and ask what they disagree on and why. Often, when making a contract, we, as consumers, will have unrealistic expectations of contractors. Most of the time, this will be resolved through communication and mutually agreeing on things such as costs, time horizons, and quality of craftsmanship.
